For the first time, Laverstoke Park Farm will host a fun day out with a difference on Sunday 26th July.
Home to former Formula 1 champion Jody Scheckter, the 2,500 acre organic farm will provide the perfect backdrop for the British Barbeque festival. Visitors are invited to explore the biodynamic farm, meet celebrity chefs and BBQ within the grounds.
Incorporated in the festival is The British BBQ Championships, a colourful competition introduced last year to Ilminster, Somerset. Hugely popular in the US particularly, for a country so enthusiastic about outdoor cooking, the UK lacked equivalent events.
Teams of up to 5 people will compete in a contest judged by a range of professional chefs for the Championship title and a cash prize!
We’ve got four family tickets up for grabs to the British Barbeque Festival being held at Laverstoke Park Farm, official suppliers for Gourmet Burger Kitchen’s organic menu range, on Sunday 26th July.
Each ticket includes entry for a car load (up to five people) a special Laverstoke BBQ ‘meat pack’ (which contains 4 lamb mince sausages, 4 buffalo burgers & 4 pork leg steaks), all utensils, cutlery & charcoal and a Hibachi BBQ (which is yours to keep) to cook up a smoky banquet for your party whilst relaxing in the grounds.
